Hey everyone,
My name is John Smith, and I’m planning my first solo trip to Egypt, arriving in Luxor on October 19th. My goal is a deep dive into Pharaonic culture, but honestly, I'm completely lost. I don't want a standard tour bus package. I want something authentic.
I put together a rough idea, but I have no clue if it's logical or even possible.
My initial plan:
Accommodation (6 days): Find a rural guesthouse on the West Bank.
Activities:
Day 1: Hot Air Balloon.
Day 2: "Pharaoh's Riddle" part 1.
Day 3: "Pharaoh's Riddle" part 2.
Day 4: "Pharaoh's Riddle" part 3.
Day 5: Full-day bicycle rental to explore the city.
Extra Services: I'd love a personal photographer for one day and a local SIM card for internet.
Is this a good plan? Any advice on how to make it better or actually book all these different things? Thanks in advance! #luxor

Your plan is solid, but Day 5 (full-day cycling) after three intense days of the "Pharaoh's Riddle" quest might be absolutely exhausting. You'll want some energy left for your last evening!
Here’s a thought: What if you integrate the cycling into one of your quest days?
When you're building your trip on the Viamingle platform, instead of just adding the "Key of Creation" blueprint on Day 3, you could also add the "Countryside Cycling" activity in the afternoon. The platform is smart enough to handle multiple activities in one day.
Here's what it might look like on your Viamingle planner:
(Screenshot of the Viamingle itinerary builder showing Day 3 with two activities: "Key of Creation Blueprint" in the morning slot, and "Countryside Cycling" in the afternoon slot.)
This way, you still get that amazing cycling experience, but as a more relaxed 4-hour tour. Plus, it frees up your entire Day 5 for some spontaneous exploring or souvenir hunting before you fly out.
As for the photographer and the SIM card, that's the easy part. Once you've designed your days, you just go to the "Services" tab and click to add them. It's all integrated.
Have an amazing trip – Luxor is magical!
